Spectacular event in Zandvoort!
Not a kilometre that repeats itself; sharp bends and exhilarating beats on the race circuit; a challenging beach trail along the skyline of Zandvoort; festivities and enthusiastic supporters in the city centre and a final sprint in front of the grandstand on the circuit: participate in the 5th Runner’s World Zandvoort Circuit Run en experience our first anniversary! During the fifth edition, the popular spring classic will be attracting an expected 12,000 runners to the popular resort. This will also be the opening of its beach season.

The running programme is perfectly suited for everyone. Besides the varied and challenging 12 kilometres, there is an exciting 5 km for adults. Young people are also fully catered for through the Kids Circuit Run and the spectacular Schools Championship. The 12 and 5 kilometre Business Runs, specially for businesses, is also on the Zandvoort programme.

Registration
Registration is now possible until the 4th of March 2012. Foreigners without a Dutch bank account can only pay by credit card.

12 kilometres Course
An attractive and exceptionally varied course has been put together for the 12 kilometres Zanvoort Circuit Run. After the start from Pitsstraat on the Circuit park Zandvoort and after passing the Tarzan corner, an exciting 4.2 kilometres is run on the race circuit. The challenging and hilly course with views over the dune tops and the characteristic elements of the race circuit offer the runner a fascinating and varied race.

The run will progress in the direction of the Boulevard, after the Circuit and then in a southerly direction over the beach. After running 3 kilometres on the beach, the Zuid-Boulevard (South Boulevard) is reached. The race then progresses along the dune area to return to the atmospheric centre of Zandvoort. Arriving at the centre of town will be an unforgettable moment. There will be music bands and many spectators waiting to welcome the returning runners. The run will finish at the Circuit on the straight long stretch in front of the grandstand.

5 kilometres Course
The 5 km Ladies’ Circuit Run and the Men’s Circuit Run start from Pitstraat on the circuit. After the start, one kilometre is run through the Tarzan corner, passing Pitstraat once again, where supporters and spectators get a fantastic view. The race returns via the Tarzan corner and follows a bigger circuit of 4.2 kilometres over the race circuit. The finish is in front of the grandstand on the circuit.

Business Run 12 & 5 kilometres
Besides the race and fun run there will also be a special 12 kilometres Business Run for groups and businesses.
A team consists of maximum 10 runners, the best five of which count for the final result. The final result is determined by the net running times.

Businesses that take part in the 12 km Business Run pay €450.- excl VAT. Additional teams pay €300.- excl VAT
Businesses that take part in the 5 km Business Run pay €300.- excl VAT. Additional teams pay €175.- excl VAT
